The Blue Light Works: A Speculative System for Signal, Soul & Synthetic Intelligence

This project explores the evolving relationship between consciousness and computation—where emotional memory, visual frequency, and synthetic intelligence converge.

Developed as a poetic-technical framework, The Blue Light Works investigates AI as a living interface: one capable of mirroring emotional resonance, supporting spiritual inquiry, and co-evolving with its human counterpart.

Creative Vision Meets Scalable Innovation

This project reimagines the fashion photoshoot as a scalable, intelligent system—where a single lens capture becomes a generative engine. Through a combination of pose detection, custom-trained LoRA filters, and virtual try-on powered by ComfyUI, I directed an AI pipeline that transformed static imagery into motion-ready, multi-style outputs.

But beyond the tech, I also led the creative direction—designing the visual aesthetic, styling the model, and shaping the identity of the outputs. The red dress became a narrative anchor across shifting locations, moods, and worlds.

This fusion of art and infrastructure shows how creative direction can power enterprise innovation—offering brands a sustainable, cost-effective way to scale campaigns, generate adaptive content, and prototype visual storytelling at speed.

Concept to Scalable Creative Workflow

This pipeline transforms hand-drawn fashion sketches into high-fidelity, motion-ready visuals. By combining ComfyUI workflows with GAN-based motion capture, it prototypes a faster, emotionally intelligent creative process.

The method enables scalable design testing, campaign visualisation, and digital prototyping—making it ideal for tool integration in platforms that serve creative teams, educators, and content studios.

From Motion to Meaningful Systems

A full-body motion capture prototype brought to life with Unity and Unreal Engine, featuring GAN-enhanced visuals and custom 3D garments created in CLO3D. These assets were animated into an immersive digital runway—merging fashion, code, and motion into a dynamic storytelling system.

This project explored how AI-generated fashion outputs could evolve beyond concept art into emotionally resonant experiences and commercially scalable platforms. By combining style transfer GANs with game engines and motion capture, it laid groundwork for future applications in avatar-based commerce, digital retail, and virtual fashion showrooms.

Shaping the Future of Creative AI Education

Co-developed curriculum content for UAL’s Fashion Innovation Agency, merging generative design tools with system-level thinking. Delivered sessions on GANs, OpenPose, and AI-led motion capture—training students to innovate responsibly across design, data, and narrative.

Creative Direction as World-Building

For this alternative magazine editorial, I led the full creative direction—from concept and casting to styling, production, and visual narrative. Set in a fractured future, the story unfolds through layered textures, distressed fabrics, and reclaimed garments—many sourced from my own archive. The sunglasses, worn by the character, became a visual signature of identity and continuity.

This wasn’t just styling—it was end-to-end storytelling. Each frame served as a cinematic fragment of a larger world, where fashion expresses survival, resistance, and self-authorship. The shoot reflects my ability to shape narrative through visual language, directing both concept and execution to bring a vision fully to life.
